Frosty survives chaotic GP finish

16 March 2014

Ford Pepsi Max Crew finished the final day of the Australian Grand Prix relatively unscathed after another incident-riddled race where Frosty avoided the carnage to claim seventh.

Chaz did not take part in the final race of the weekend following the extensive damage to his car in yesterdays race.

Mark Winterbottom - #5 Pepsi Max FPR Ford:

Race 4: 7th

I cant believe the way some guys were driving as you need to respect the cars and the effort the crew puts in to prepare everything. We obviously have a lot of work to do to fix car #6 after yesterday so I wanted to bring back a straight car. There was some pretty bad driving but I survived, we went quicker and moved forward again. Qualifying badly hurt our weekend but we made gains and it was good to finish the weekend with our best result of the event.

Chaz Mostert - #6 Pepsi Max FPR Ford:

Race 4: Did not race due to crash damage from Saturdays Race 3

Tim Edwards Team Principal:

Thankfully we came away from today with three straight cars and only some minor panel damage. The racing was pretty enthusiastic up and down the field so I think we can count ourselves lucky. There is obviously some work to be done to fix Chazs car but on the performance side we made some gains so our focus now turns to the back-to-back races at Tasmania and Winton starting next week.
