Mark Winterbottom Launches New Site

7 April 2009

The new site has officially been launched

Last season's V8 Supercar Championship runner-up, Mark Winterbottom, has launched a newly re-designed website for his fans to visit throughout the 2009 V8 Supercar Championship Series. The address of the new website is www.markwinterbottom.com

Not content with the somewhat outdated process of updating his website before and after each race on the 14 event V8 Supercar calendar, the 27 year old driver will be personally updating his new website every day using the widely popular Twitter system. Using his mobile phone, Mark will be providing fans with an insight on his activities each day, be it working at the FPR Race Centre with his engineers and crew, or traveling the country to visit fans and sponsors. Frosty will also be able to update fans on his thoughts following each day of every race event during 2009.

Designed by Damian Keeghan of DMK Web Design, Mark Winterbottom's new website utilises a unique design, which combines high quality images with rich content, while offering simple access to all of the latest information and photography from the 2009 V8 Supercar Championship Series.

A further addition to the new Mark Winterbottom website is a list of public appearances for the current month, where fans from all over Australia will be able to catch up with their favourite V8 Supercar driver during his many and varied public appearances.

Special events such as Mark's television and radio program appearances will also be listed on the new website, further ensuring that his valued supporters are aware of what is taking place as often as possible.

Succinct pre and post race reports are also abundantly available on Mark's new internet site and a new contact section has also been included for fans to leave messages for Mark throughout the season.

"My new website is all about providing my fans with a reason to visit my site on a regular basis with instant news updates and imagery," Mark said.

"I know what I would like to see if I was visiting a sportsperson's website and we have tried to incorporate all of the information and features that people would like to access in a user friendly layout. I am looking forward to reading the feedback from visitors to the site and to introducing further enhancements to the website in the future," he added.
