Frosty wins race 12

The Pepsi Max Crew has become the first team in V8 Supercars history to claim every Championship Series and Dunlop Series win and pole position across an event as Frosty closed the weekend out with a win. 
The win returned him to the top of the points table and saw him claim a home track win for the third year running. 
Pole-sitter Chaz lead early and looked set to claim the victory only to slide off the track with a small error and beach his car against the tyre barrier. 
His car was recovered but he ended laps down at the tail of the field. 
Earlier in the day the team’s rising star Cameron Waters claimed two Dunlop Series victories to make it three from three for the weekend and six consecutive wins after his Perth sweep. 
Chaz’s trio of poles across the weekend, coupled with his two and Frosty’s single pole position in Perth have seen the team claim six in a row, becoming the first team since 1988 to achieve the feat.

"That was awesome. To clean sweep the whole weekend is brilliant for the team both at the track and the workshop, we’ve been working hard and this is a great reward. Today was a great race and while we weren’t there 100 per cent today we brought it home and I was surprised by the pace we had, especially at the end. I thought the tyres were gone and they came alive and allowed me to manage the gap. Any win is great but to do it the way we did this weekend is truly amazing. It has never been done before and that is special.”

"Today didn’t quite go the way I wanted it to and I can only apologise to the team for spinning off. We started the day perfectly with pole again and our strategy was working out as planned. I was leading and just dropped a tyre off the road and the car spun. It dug in and I couldn’t get back out without assistance so our chance was blown. A great effort by the whole team and Frosty on the win today. It was an amazing weekend of results so I can’t wait to get going again in Darwin.”

DUNLOP SERIES – WINTON SUNDAY WRAP
Prodrive Racing's Cameron Waters started the team’s run of form by claiming two wins from the day’s two Dunlop Series races. Starting from pole in each he re-used hard tyres in the first race and held off the chasing pack before using his best set in the final race. He simply drove away from the field to record his sixth win from the last six starts and open up a commanding lead in the points.

“I’m lost for words really. Any time you win a race in this series is a great achievement, but to win all three for the second round in a row and also lead every session and every lap of each race is just amazing. I can’t thank Team ENZED PRA enough. They just keep giving me an incredible car that is so quick and consistent, which gives me the confidence I need to do the job. In Race 2 we only used two new tyres whereas the guys behind us used four, but we still had the pace and ability to control the race we wanted and it was the same in Perth. We’ve got a good break now to sit back and enjoy what we’ve achieved, but at the same time I can’t wait for Townsville to try and keep this run going.”
