Frosty on pole and Chaz 2nd

Pepsi Max Crew has come out firing on the first day of the 2015 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix with the team finishing first and second in qualifying.
In his first pole position since Phillip Island in 2013, Mark Winterbottom will start alongside team-mate Chaz Mostert on the front row for race one after holding strong throughout the day.
Mostert, who claimed p1 in the first practice session, finished a mere 0.025seconds behind Winterbottom.
The team is encouraged by the positive results from the FG X as the car's potential continues to unlock.
DRIVERS’ VIEW
Mark Winterbottom - #5 Pepsi Max PRA Ford:
Qualified: 1st
“It's fantastic for the team to get on pole. We got first, second and fourth in the session. Adelaide was tough for us because of the tight track but at this fast flowing track we have been quite good. Our cars topped every session so it has been a good day for us. We're trying a few different things with the car this weekend to learn as much as we can and even though I have a completely different set up to my team-mates, we're only separated by 0.02 seconds apart so the car is working well and we are able to draw strengths from each."
Chaz Mostert - #6 Pepsi Max PRA Ford:
Qualified: 2nd
“The car is totally different this year to what it was last year so it's good to roll out and be competitive. Qualifying on the front row with Frosty is pretty cool and pretty special for the team. Coming out of Adelaide and from a crash it's good to reward the crew with a front row start. We're learning a lot about the car every time we go out so we're slowly getting to know it better so hopefully we'll know even more by Tasmania."
Tim Edwards – Team Principal:
“The opening day of the Australian Grand Prix has been pretty good. The boys have done a great job to get the third FG X out and it's all good news so far. To get all three inside the top five is fantastic so it'll just be a matter of staying up there over the course of the weekend."
