Raceway has made it an exciting venue for V8 Supercar racing. Featuring three fast straights blended with a quick chicane and some tight corners, Winton is a highly technical circuit that gives V8 Supercar team engineers and drivers a lot more to think about each year to maximise speed and suspension performance. The tight 3km layout allows excellent viewing from most parts of the circuit, while a new pit area has made it a far more user friendly circuit in recent years.

Post-race report

Who would have thought coming in to this round that we would be leaving 70 points off the lead, i almost rode myself off after a few bad rounds, now i am well in reach and the top 6 in this championship are all on a charge, it is going to be a thrilling win, who ever gets it! Different tyre batches caused some issues for our cars this weekend, i qualified 3rd on one set and 19th on the next set with the same set up. It is great to finally get a win at winton and we are all pumped leading in to the endurance races.
