Without a doubt the most exciting event on the V8 Supercar Calendar, most of the 3.2km layout is a shortened version of the former Australian Formula One Grand Prix street circuit. Renowned as one of the best street circuits in the world after its 11 year tenure as the home of the Grand Prix, the fast layout leaves absolutely no room for errors. This circuit's concrete barriers have on many an occasion provided a stark reminder to V8 Supercar drivers of just how hard it can bite if mistakes are made. Often the scene of titanic V8 Supercar battles, this circuit and record public attendances makes it the jewel in the crown of V8 Supercar racing in Australia and one of the biggest domestic sporting events in the country.

Pre-race report

27 February 2013

The start of a new era, i'm so excited to get our new Pepsi Max car of the future on to the streets of adelaide. We have a new format this weekend with 4 practice sessions on Friday, qualifying and a shoot out followed by 2 x 78 lap races on Sat and Sun.

Post-race report

3 March 2013

A mixed bag for our first round, qualified on the front row for both races, but didn't convert it into a podium finish due to a gear box and wheel nut issue. Finished 5th today, which was a good recovery after losing 10+ seconds in the pits, we should have been on the podium. The car is fast and promising, we need to ensure reliability of all car parts and we will get some results.
