A brand new circuit that makes use of Sydney's fantastic Olympic Games site. This will be our grand finale event and where I hope to claim the V8 Supercar Championship! This new circuit will be very fast and flowing, with some similarities to the high speed Adelaide Parklands Circuit layout, but it is not as twisty in places. Its a total unknown until we actually get there - but being from Sydney originally, I just can't wait for my hometown to finally have a world class motor racing event.

Pre-race report

I cant believe the final race of 2012 is here, the year has flown by and it is time to say goodbye to the current era of racing Ford Versus Holden and hello to the car of the future. We have had some great races and success this year, we just werent consistently winning like Whincup, well done to him on winning the championship. The average results to win a championship were taken to a new level this year. So we will be aiming to have a great result at Homebush this weekend to cap off the year.

Post-race report

What a disaster of a weekend. Started 25th after a crazy wet qualifying session. My car was fast, I passed a heap of cars and got to 9th by lap 13, we didnt pit with the rest of the field on lap 20 putting us back in the pack, i also had to do a 3rd pit stop for fuel with 10 laps to go to get to the end of the race, finished 9th. On Sunday i finishing 18th after getting put in to the tyres at turn 1 on lap 1, a flat tyre mid race and a pit stop infringement. We did not get a result this weekend but it wasn't due to speed. Car was fast again today, I set the fastest lap by 4 tenths and well done to Will on winning the race. I'd like to thank all of my fans for being so passionate and supportive all year. Bring on Feb 16, COFT test at Eastern Creek.
