The most famous racing circuit in Australia and the home of one of the world's greatest motor races - which is of course our grueling, six and a half hour and 1000 kilometre long test of man and machine at the amazing 6.2km Mount Panorama circuit. The fastest of all V8 Supercar circuits, with cars reaching close to 300kph along Conrod Straight, the Bathurst circuit has it all, from a tight and twisting climb to the top of the mountain, to a fast flip-flop ride down that rewards bravery behind the wheel. This circuit is without a doubt a complex engineering exercise to get the cars absolutely right for, considering that two drivers need to be comfortable with the car set up. I came to within 13 laps of winning it in 2007...

Pre-race report

5 October 2012

Super excited to be a part of 50 years of Bathurst, it is going to be bigger than any year i have been involved in and the atmosphere will be incredible. We head in to this race with very strong form at FPR with 3 competitive front running cars. I am focused on getting a result and will do everything in my power to be there in the last 20 laps when it counts. Enjoy 50 years of Bathurst!

Finished 11th today after having 4 tyres delaminate during the race, causing us to pit more than we planned. i cant work it out, but we live to fight another day at Bathurst. Well done to Jamie and Dave on the exciting finish to the race.
