The least technical of all the circuits that we compete at, Queensland Raceway rewards strong mid corner speed and traction (grip) out of the corners. The 3.1km layout basically consists of four right and two left corners with four straights - two short and two long, in between. I won at this venue in 2008.

Looking forward to Ipswich for a few reasons this weekend, we were not competitive there last year and have come a long way with our cars since then so im excited to see that show on the track and challenge the queensland teams on their test track, the new surface will also make the track nicer to drive on, smoothing out some of the bumps and inperfections of the circuit and my last reason is it is freezing in Melbourne, so cant wait to hit Queensland weather.

I'm very happy with 2nd place in both races this weekend, well done to my team FPR we are strong and super competitive! I launched off the start in race 2 and had great pace to mix it up the front. Craig was just that little bit quicker earlier and got by me, i maintained the gap to him all race but couldn't catch him and he couldn't pull away.
