The home of the Australian round of the Formula One World Championship since 1996, the 5.3 km Albert Park circuit is a public road during the year, but you couldn't find a more purpose built temporary racing circuit anywhere in the world. This can be traced to the circuit's origins as a Grand Prix track during the 60's, circling Melbourne's iconic Albert Park lake. With top speeds exceeding 250kph and a number hard braking tight turns, the circuit has a tendency to produce very good V8 Supercar races.

Pre-race report

27 March 2011

Looking forward to back to back race weekends, we dont get it very often. Racing at the AGP is our only non championship round which gives us the opportunity to test different components and set ups on the race car, we always have new things to try so it will be great to make the most of this weekend.

Post-race report

27 March 2011

The AGP gave us wet and cool conditions this weekend. Car was better then 4th in qualifying, traffic and a red flag. Race 1 was officially hard work, my pedal went to the floor and i ran off the track, the car was quick for 1 lap not 25. Great start to race 2 running 5th pitted and had a cross threaded wheel nut costing me 23 positions. Went from 20th to 11th in race 3, lots of moves going on ahead and some good racing to watch Thankfully this is not a championship round!
