Post-race report

Up and down round 1, could have been better. Coming in to this round i knew the soft tyres would be challenging, we struggled with the car in practice and qualifying for race 1, kerb riding was poor along with understeer and rear locking. I managed to drive around the problems and qualify 4th, finishing the race in 3rd. I knew what we needed to fix the car so my engineers put their heads down and came up with a good package for race 2, we qualified 3rd and i was happy with the car in the race. I received a late call to pit for our second stop and unfortunately got a drive through penalty for crossing the pit entry line taking me from challenging the lead to 17th. I made a couple of spots, salvaged some points to finish 14th. We will carry our knowledge gains from this round and fight hard at Clipsal.
