The Bahrain International Circuit was designed by renowned German architect Hermann Tilke, the same architect who designed the spectacular Sepang circuit in Malaysia and the unbelievable Shanghai circuit in China. Bahrain features include a super-wide track, very fast and slow corners and sweeping straights. I won this round in 2007 and it felt great to travel so far away and take a victory. I'd like to do that again.

Pre-race report

23 February 2010

We have firsts for a number of things this year. First time we have had back to back international rounds and first time we have used the full GP circuit at Bahrain, the double left hander is going to be a really good corner for our cars and the high speed corner before is going to be cool as well. Looking forwward to developing our car further, the more laps we do the faster we will get. Keep your eye on twitter and facebook for my updates.

Post-race report

28 February 2010

We are leaving the middle east with what we set out to achieve, 4 podiums, consistency, a bag of points and direction with the car. The Bahrain circuit presented a number of challengs and changing conditions, we qualified well in third and second and finished second in both races, putting the fight up for first in the second race, but still require some speed to get on the top step. Campbell Little my race engineer brings out the best in me, we are working well as a team and have a number of new components to put on the car over the coming rounds, i'm very excited and cant wait to race at home in front of all the Aussies. Ford fans should be excited, we will continue to work hard, but we have the fight in us.
