Townsville's first V8 Supercar event finally brings our sport to the huge fan base that we have in Northern Queensland. This is a new street circuit and as with any track of this type - expect plenty of action. I like the addition of new venues to our calendar as it brings everyone back to an even starting point, not having raced there before.

What a thrill to be racing at the Dunlop Townsville 400 for the very first time. I am so excited about this track, having been there three time to see the progress stages and with 100,000 tickets sold and amazing facilities it is going to be one of the events of the year. The track is going to be high grip and high speed and who ever gets the setup right straight away will be one step ahead of the rest. Tune in to 7 for some great racing.

What a brilliant event, awesome track and huge crowds making a brilliant atmosphere. I had locking brakes in qualifying on Saturday, but we managed to come through the field from 16th to 8th in Race 1. We worked on a brake issue overnight and qualified 5th, finishing 7th in Race 2, I had no brakes towards the end of the race, having a couple of moments. We moved forward to 7th in the championship and will be trying to carrying that on.
