Pre-race report

25 May 2009

I can't wait to go racing this weekend. We had a successful test day in between rounds and I also got to drive the stone brothers car, so we are taking added knowledge to Tasmania. We get to use the soft tyres again, so strategy will be critical, especially on such a short track. I think we have learnt from winton as to which strategy will be best. The weather is a minimum of 1 degree and maximum of 15 degrees, so it will be freezing.

Post-race report

31 May 2009

The roller coaster racing continued this weekend. We had awesome car pace, it may have not been obvious on TV, but the car is the best it has ever been. We got caught out by the red flags in leg two of qualifying one and had a wheel nut cross threaded in our race one pit stop. Qualifying for race two went well, starting from 5th, our strategy was perfect and our pace on soft tyres was unbelievable, i was in the lead of the race when passing Murphy who was a lap down, we made contact at the hairpin, stopping and getting going again, resulted in me finishing 4th.
