Frosty goes 4 from 4

15 March 2015

Prodrive 1-2 all weekend

Prodrive Racing has made it four from four at the 2015 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix in a clean-sweep of the event.

Recording their fourth straight one-two finish in the final race for the weekend, Mark Winterbottom and Chaz Mostert lead the race from start to finish.
In another safety-car dominated race the pair made it to turn one unscathed after an incident in the rolling start.
Challenges from Shane van Gisbergen and James Courtney were to no effect, with the Ford FG X Falcons extending their lead over the pack.
The team now turns its focus to Tasmania, where Frosty and Chaz hope to consolidate their win.
DRIVERS’ VIEW
Mark Winterbottom - #5 Pepsi Max PRA Ford:
Race 4 Result: 1st
"I had a really good car in that race, it was good to try and do those laps. When you're up the front and have a nice car you just try and go as hard as you can. They caught me at the end, Shane and James. They came home pretty strong so we just did what we could and we got the job done. Another one, two is awesome. It's as good as it gets. Looking forward to the rest of the year you're going to have good days and you're going to have bad days so on our bad days we just need to be competitive. The overall aim is to be good across the 12 months."
Chaz Mostert - #6 Pepsi Max PRA Ford:
Race 4 Result: 2nd
"We ran a bit of a different tyre strategy compared to some of the other guys so we struggled a little bit in that race but it was fantastic to be one two in that race even when you're tyres aren't the best quality  the car still feels good. It has been a very promising weekend for us so we're looking forward to going to Tasmania. For me personally, as a driver, this weekend has been really crucial to get some of my confidence back after Clipsal. The car has worked really well all weekend, it's worked over all four races and different temperatures. My engineer Adam has done a fantastic job, he's moved with how the track has changed across the weekend and the car has felt spot on every time we go out."

Tim Edwards – Team Principal
“Four from four is a fantastic result for the team. Frosty and Chaz did a fantastic job to stay up the front. Being up there definitely helped to avoid the carnage in the beginning of the race. To get the round win is great and I think it is definitely a sign on things to come. Now we head to Tasmania, another fast, flowing track so hopefully we can back it up and get some points on the board."
