Surfers Paradise, Queensland

This 4.5km circuit follows the world famous Surfers Paradise shoreline and is one of the most colourful events of the year in terms of atmosphere. It is a difficult street circuit layout that combines the need for good straightline speed with being able to get in and out of the slowest and narrowest of corners. Panel rubbing and major accidents are par for the course at this major event. Having stated this, I enjoy having a real go at this circuit as the rewards are great, but the price to pay for a mistake, just like any street circuit, can be major.

Gold Coast Race is here, it is definitely one of my favorites, i enjoy the circuit and having come off the success of winning Bathurst we are all in a good head space as a team. I will be driving with Richo again for the last round of the Enduro Cup.

What a weekend, our usual dominance at Gold Coast did not translate in to the car of the future, we have some work to do on solving our issues, all in all we managed a 3rd place and 18th place after damage from the kerbs. And we closed the championship gap slightly to 88 points. It is well and truly alive.
