Pre-race report

31 March 2012

Off to Tassie, a track that has been fast for FPR, we have had a solid start to the season so it is important to continue our momentum. Another hard/soft tyre round, lets see how the last.

Post-race report

1 April 2012

A bag of mixed results after our cars showed enormous speed at Symmons Plains. Came away with a pole position and 2nd place to my teammate on Saturday, felt i had the speed to win, but was great to get a 1-2 for the team again. Qualifying was super close on Sunday, 3rd was my grid spot for the 84 lap race, got off to a good start and made my way to the lead, pitted on lap 50 for the final stop, the car stalled in the pits and wouldnt start, losing 9 seconds sent me back to 5th position and by that point in the race the brakes are hot and it is difficult to pass. Probably the one that got away, but it is early days as we sit in 3rd.
