Townsville's first V8 Supercar event finally brings our sport to the huge fan base that we have in Northern Queensland. This is a new street circuit and as with any track of this type - expect plenty of action. I like the addition of new venues to our calendar as it brings everyone back to an even starting point, not having raced there before.

Post-race report

Great to get a solid result with 5th and 3rd at Townsville along with my 4th pole position in a row, matching the record. We have jumped up to 5th in the championship so need to continue getting the results to move forward. The car is still not 100% on soft tyres but we are working on it every day and i hope we are heading in the right direction so we can start winning races!
