Championship 8th

The least technical of all the circuits that we compete at, Queensland Raceway rewards strong mid corner speed and traction (grip) out of the corners. The 3.1km layout basically consists of four right and two left corners with four straights - two short and two long, in between. I won at this venue in 2008.

Pre-race report

27 April 2010

Ipswich here we come. The first round for 2010 on soft tyres and the first round to have soft tyres used all weekend, 5 sets will be fun. Strategy is really important as these tyres drop off heaps, so Campbell is working on our game plan. I have won at Ipswich the last two years, it was the first track i drove a V8 Supercar on and i enjoy it.

Post-race report

2 May 2010

We struggled with pace all weekend. The soft tyres really threw us this weekend. I managed to get one lap out of it in Saturdays shoot out, finishing 4th, but we struggled with understeer and oversteer, our tyre life was not good. In Sundays qualifying the car was not quich enough, we had really bad undeersteed, qualifying 17th. In the race i got a good start, passed Holdsworth in to turn 1, who stalled on the line and he tagged my back tyre turning me around, smacking me in to the wall. I am ok, but the car isn't in good shape.
