The most famous racing circuit in Australia and the home of one of the world's greatest motor races - which is of course our grueling, six and a half hour and 1000 kilometre long test of man and machine at the amazing 6.2km Mount Panorama circuit. The fastest of all V8 Supercar circuits, with cars reaching close to 300kph along Conrod Straight, the Bathurst circuit has it all, from a tight and twisting climb to the top of the mountain, to a fast flip-flop ride down that rewards bravery behind the wheel. This circuit is without a doubt a complex engineering exercise to get the cars absolutely right for, considering that two drivers need to be comfortable with the car set up. I came to within 13 laps of winning it in 2007...

Pre-race report

7 October 2010

The countdown to the biggest race of the year has begun. 9 days until we hit the track for practice. I'm feeling pretty good about heading up to Bathurst and having a solid result. My past record doesn't look great but i am so hungry to win. I have learnt from my mistake in 2007 and use it as motivation. With a good result up there the championship points situation could be very interesting. Bring it on!

Post-race report

10 October 2010

What a day, the fpr guys found bent damper, bent diff, bent shock and bent steering on my car, I knew there was some serious bent components, so it was a good achievement to finish 9th. We will keep our heads up and keep fighting.
