  • Qual 13th
  • Race 1 9th
  • Race 2 5th
Championship 2nd

The home of the Australian round of the Formula One World Championship since 1996, the 5.3 km Albert Park circuit is a public road during the year, but you couldn't find a more purpose built temporary racing circuit anywhere in the world. This can be traced to the circuit's origins as a Grand Prix track during the 60's, circling Melbourne's iconic Albert Park lake. With top speeds exceeding 250kph and a number hard braking tight turns, the circuit has a tendency to produce very good V8 Supercar races.

Pre-race report

22 March 2010

Melbourne has turned on the spectacular weather and i'm looking forward to riding my push bike out to the track, staying in my own bed and racing in the evening. It is great to race in front of so many people on the Albert Park circuit, i'd love it to be a championship round and even though it isn't we will be trying our best to win. We are making good progress with the car and will continue to do so this weekend.

Post-race report

28 March 2010

Interesting weekend, we tried some new components in qualifying that didn't quiet work for us. After starting 13th in race 1, i got up to 9th in the short race. I had a ripper of a start in Race 2, going from 9th to 6th on the first corner and finishing 5th, my tyres took too long to come up to temp, but i was happy with the car and we made good progress. Today my brake pedal went to the floor half way through the race, i couldn't stop the car. We will get the problem fixed and fight again at Hamilton.
