Championship --

The home of the Australian round of the Formula One World Championship since 1996, the 5.3 km Albert Park circuit is a public road during the year, but you couldn't find a more purpose built temporary racing circuit anywhere in the world. This can be traced to the circuit's origins as a Grand Prix track during the 60's, circling Melbourne's iconic Albert Park lake. With top speeds exceeding 250kph and a number hard braking tight turns, the circuit has a tendency to produce very good V8 Supercar races.

Post-race report

29 March 2009

Its great to be back on the podium again and also manage a race win, this weekend was a great way to further develop our new FG race car. We improved the handling each race but ran out of tyres for race 3. I feel we are in a lot better shape heading to New Zealand then we were a week ago with a big gain in reliability in the steering which the team have worked on between Adelaide and now. All in all a good weekend and more importantly Ford won the manufacturers trophy! Thanks for all your messages I read them all and love the support you all give.
