Pre-race report

15 April 2009

Off to Round 2, Hamilton NZ in the morning. I see this round as a good chance to get the championship back on track. The FPR cars were quick last year. This year there have been some modifications to the circuit, they have changed the chicane, which will improve racing. Also a new component has been developed for my car which will be ready for this weekend. That's all my news. Tune in to Ch 7 to catch the action.

Post-race report

19 April 2009

I had a mixed weekend at Hamilton, qualifying Pole in Race 1 and finishing 2nd was the good part. The car wasn't ideal in the race, so we worked on that over night. In qualifying for Race 2 i was on my flying lap when the red flag came out, so i started in 10th. I had a good start off the line and found myself in a not so ideal position on the outside of Lowndes who got on the throttle and tapped my car coming out of the corner which broke my steering and my car went in to the wall. The bad result always outweighs the good, we need to find our consistency for Winton and get some good results, i know we can do it.
